Portuguese Barro Negro Creamer

Barro Negro, ”black mud,” is a style of earthenware from the mineral-rich soil of central Portugal. High-fired, the time and temperature in the kiln develops deep carbonization resulting in the clay becoming a deep graphite-like matte black.

Hand wash with light soap.
